whats the best way to fish for largemouth in california during winter? how do you gauge wat color to use with water clarity and water temp ? whats best ways to fish for bass through the season.? i ask alot question beacuse i only catch bunch of little bass and like 1 out of 50 is over 3 pounds and i want to go pro!

Hey Dan, I live in eastern North Carolina and I wanted to go up to Lake Phelps of the christmas break to fish for some largemouth bass. I was wondering if you could give me an idea as to what bait to use. I’ve been using a rat-l-trap, which has done me some good. So if you have any ideas about good december baits that would be great. Thanks alot.

Hi there, I live on a 80acre lake that runs about 25feet at its deepest point. There are channels that branch off on the south east side and they run about 5-10 feet deep. Right now the water temp is about 40-45 degrees and the temp outside is close to the same.. I want to know where to look for bass this time of year and how should I go about catching them?
