My son and I just started bass fishing this summer and have had good success at a small pond with a lot of stumps and down trees and branches. There are now a lot of weeds along most areas of the banks. Is there a certain type of lure or bait that would be best suited for this type of fishing? Dan, I recently moved to Orlando from North Carolina. I plan on fishing about every weekend, but I love to do my research before I fish. There are so many lakes around, I’m not sure where to start. I am taking my 10 year old son out on a boat for the first time to fish for larger fish. We fish from the dock and get small bass and sun fish. He is getting anxious to get something bigger. I want to use rubber worms that on the package they say Bass just love. How do I set the worm on my hook for this and can we fish with a bobber with the rubber worms?
