However, in winter, they will not chase bait but simply go for bait that is convenient and slow moving. As such, the reaction bait will not tempt a bass into striking at that time of year. You should use it when there is plenty of activity on the lake They are specifically designed to make the bass react to them by moving quickly and attracting their attention. This can often elicit a bite. Examples of the reaction bait are the jerk bait, spinner bait and crank bait, although there are others.
