This may be because it touts itself as the best bass fishing guide out there for beginners and the one that can help those that are past the beginner stage lift their skills to the next level, but does it really work? Yes it does. Ike’s Better Rules For Bass fishing is a comprehensive guide and his rules are common sense. They can give you a way of lifting your strike rate in no time at all. The rules are excellent as a guide and I do agree with them. It is extremely easy to understand and very simple to carry out, which is why they have the edge over the advice offered in a number of other books. However, that is not to say that they are not problematic for some bass fishing enthusiasts. Ike’s rules are designed for everyone and have had a number of rave reviews from beginners and those that have just moved out of that class. However, they have also had a lot of negative reviews from those that have learned all of the basic skills and moved into the expert classes. They tend to find that there is only a little helpful information in there that can be of any use to them. There is nothing wrong with the rules but it is worth bearing in mind that you may not get as much out of them as you originally thought you may.
