Do you have any bass fishing secrets that can help a guy break out of a slump?
If you ask all bass fishing enthusiasts whether they have ever had a slump then almost every single one of them will answer with an affirmation. All bass fishig enthusiasts go through a poor spell at one time or another. Some spells will last for a few days, others for weeks but a handful will last for months. Many bass fishing enthusists will just encourage you to persevere because every slump has to come to an end eventually, right? Well yes, but if you do not do something for yourself then it is likely to last longer than it has to. There are no surefire ways to bring a slump to an end, no matter how many you try or how long you have been in it for. It all depends on where you fish and the tackle that you use. The latter s the first thing I would suggest experimenting with though. If you experiment then the likelihood is that you will hit upon a winning solution sooner or later. Try a buzzbait or a torpedo if you do not usually use either. This is because they will disturb the water where you fish without you putting any effort into it at all. As such, they tend to attract bass like a magnet. Alternatively, try changing your scenery. Go to another lake in your local area or take a road trip. You may find a change will make you concentrate harder on what you are doing because it is unfamiliar territory. As such, you can pick up areas of your technique where you may be going a little astray.
