Consider putting in standard items such as spinner baits, weights, line, hooks, hard baits, and jigs.  If you can afford it, tuck in a nice reel or even a rod.  Fishing lights, particularly the submersibles, are great to give, and can always be used.  A nice 4 wheel drive to pull the boat might be appreciated as well!
