Use good bait.  When it comes to catching bass, it seems there are always a few baits that catch time after time.  Live bait really can not be left off the list of effective bass baits.  Live bait from the waters you are fishing certainly should be at the top of the list.  
 
When it comes to artificial bait, the following should be on every bass angler's go to list:
 
Plastic worms
Topwater Plugs
Rattling crankbait
Spinner bait
Jig N' Pig
Twitch baits
Jerkbaits
 
When it comes to catching bass in Ontario, the same hints hold true everywhere, and these prolific waters should give you all they have got with just a little know how!
