Lake Walter F. George for largemouth, is hard to beat. Use big spinners, deep diving crank bait (especially along ledges) and Carolina rigged plastic worms and lizards for good catches, particularly if you move to deeper channels during the hottest months, and into the grassy shorelines during spring and fall.
 
Bass fishing in Georgia is an amazing adventure.  There are a number of great fishing spots throughout the state, and you are sure to catch your fill.  Be sure to be prepared, and check out any restrictions on the amount and type of fish you can catch before heading out.
