Is there a special way to catch kentucky spotted bass?

If you are planning on going for a spot of Kentucky spotted bass fishing in the near future but have never gone before then you may be a little surprised at how I answer this question. Many beginners or intermediate level bass fishing enthusiasts tend to stick to one type of bass rather than going fishing in various places for various types so if you fall into this category you may be surprised to learn that you probably already know how to catch Kentucky spotted bass. In terms of their size habitat, liking for warmer temperatures and feeding habits they are very similar to the smallmouth bass. They are roughly the same size and have a very similar jaw. They also have the same temperement. As such, you can use the equipment and the lures necessary to catch the spotted bass without purchasing any extras. Kentucky spotted bass should be caught using smaller lures such as plastic worms and spoons work well, as do small crankbaits. You should also use a light rod to help you gain a little control because they do tend to fight when you try to reel them in. You should also fish in shallow to moderate depths from spring through fall because they will remain close to the surface. However, if you are going fishing for Kentucky spotted bass in winter then be sure to fish deep for them. if you do not then you stand little to no chance of catching them at that time of year.
