What are the most effective bass swim baits?

Swim baits are not everyone’s cup of tea. Relatively new to the market, you may find that people either love them and refuse to go back to their old lures or hate them with a passion and will staunchly not use them no matter what. Although I do use old lures like the worm and the spinnerbait, I do fall into the former camp. On the occasions that I have used them I have foiund that they do draw a lot of attention and seem to get a lot of action. Swimbaits are effectively baits that have been moulded and painted to resemble real bait. They tend to fool both largemouth and smallmouth bass really well no matter what kind of water you are fishing on. They are great to use in lakes, rivers, ponds, pools and even saltwater areas as well. Their colour and motion are scarily life like! If you have never tried them before and want to go straight in with the most effectiv then you should choose to buy Bas Pro Shops XPS swimbaits. They are absolutely fanastic because they are so realistic. Their eyes are 3D as a normal live fish’s would be and the colouring is spot on. It is not wonder that the bass mistake them for live fish given that all you need to do is twitch the line every now and again. A twitch here and there will work wonders. However, they do tend to work better in rougher waters. Try using a jerkbait model in calmer waters.
