* Decide what features you want. You have many options when it comes to features so take your time and check out the different ones available. Make sure you get everything that you would use but there is no point in paying for extras that you’ll never use.
* Consider where you’ll be fishing. Will you be fishing in lakes, rivers or the ocean? It does make a difference and you’ll need to buy a boat that is best suited for the environment it’ll mostly be used in.
* What type motor does it have? This is not something that you’ll want to be replacing anytime soon so, make sure the motor is one that will fill your needs. Along with the outboard motor you also need a good trolling motor so you can sneak into some of those secluded places without scaring the bass away.
* What type of trailer comes with the boat? This is another thing that you must take a close look at. How big is the trailer? What size tires and wheels does it have and how easy will it be to load and unload the boat when at the water?
* Maneuverability and stability. These are two more things that you should look for when buying a bass fishing boat. Safety should always be the number one concern and these are two factors that have a lot to do with how safe the boat is.
* Check out the guarantee. Each company that sells bass fishing boats has a different type of guarantee or warranty. Be sure and find out what it is before you buy.
