This is because bass fishing enthusiasts always want to give themselves the best possible chance at catching bass in their chosen waters. So should you go in the morning or evening and which time of year is best? Well, first of all, you should bear in mind that it varies from state to state as to when is the best possible time you should go fishing as a result of the weather and general fishing conditions. The specific body of water you choose will dictate when it best in terms of season and specific time because bass baheviour is not predictable and will vary from area to area. You need to take the clarity of the water, depth of the water, nature and amount of vegetation, population size, food type available and water temperature into account when deciding to head out onto the lake. As such, you might want to think about what time to head out when you have the weather forecast the night before a trip. Bass are incredibly flexible creatures and can buck all of the above trends and factors so be aware of that fact. You need to be flexible when you are on the water fishing so do not be afraid to change your tactics, arrive earlier, arrive later or stay longer. Do whatever it is you have to in order to feel comfortable and improve your catch rate.
